    Antelope Bowhunt near Casper, Wyoming

    3-day fully guided hunt - $3,250

Travel to north-central Wyoming with another top-notch outfitter in premier antelope country. They have an excellent population of antelope, an area where hunters are allowed to harvest 2 bucks.  Trophy quality is excellent, and we recommend hunters wait on solid Pope & Young animals. Hunting is hunting, but we expect nearly all our clients willing to pass smaller bucks to tag a nice P&Y qualifier.  Most of the hunting is done from well-established blinds set near waterholes. The 2nd buck is available with 2nd license + trophy fee. This is what we refer to as a full-service / semi-guided hunt.  The guides will drop off the hunters at their blind in the morning, with everything they need for the day. The guides will be checking on the hunters, and be promptly available if needed.  This hunt combines well with Mule Deer or Whitetails when the seasons overlap in September.

    Where: Casper, Wyoming

Hunt Dates: Entire Archery season (mid-August thru September)

Unit 25:  2021 is full and now taking bookings for 2022

    • Trophy fee for 1st buck
    • Access to prime private property
    • Blinds set at active waterholes
    • Transportation during the hunt
    • Field preparation of trophies and meat

    • All meals needed during the hunt.

    The Area & the Tag:

They hunt 2 different Big Game units, WBGU 25 & 71.

Their home ranch is in unit 25 which can usually be drawn with 0 preference points, but 1 preference point has always drawn. Most of their hunters will apply for 25 and hunt the home ranch but they are limited in the number of hunters they can take to sustain quality.

Their lease in WBGU 71 has a little better quality than 25, but a tougher draw. It took 5 preference points to draw 71 this year, up from 3 in 2016.

If you are unable to draw, your deposit is rolled into the next year at the same hunt cost.

    Best time to go

We’ve always promoted the 1st part of the season (August 15th - 25th ) and that would be my choice for the upcoming year, but the bottom line is, success will depend more on the weather than the week you book. Hot, dry weather (which is typical in Wyoming) means dead Antelope.

Un-Guided Archery ANtelope in North-Central Montana

Travel to the ranchland south of Mosby, in east-central Montana to Bowhunt Antelope with another well-established, experienced Outfitter. This is a good area, one of the better units in the state, with lots of animals, and good quality Bucks. This is an Un-Guided Hunt on Private ground. You provide the plan and responsible to execute and success will depend on how well you this is accomplished. The outfitter will give you a tour of the property and let you know which waterholes normally produce or where you can spot & Stalk with a decoy. I’d recommend you bring a good pop-up blind or two and set it/them up the day before you start hunting or in the pre-dawn darkness of the first day. You provide the food, accommodations and transportation as well.

The animals generally move all day and most the action will happen between 10:00 am and 2:00pm, so just relax, kick back, and enjoy the show. This is normally a dry area, where the animals usually water every day, but you can to spot and stalk or use a decoy if needed, as backup plan if it happens to rain while your there.

    4-day Guided Bowhunt –  $1,250

Hunt Schedule for 2026: Schedule adjusted with hunter / outfitter after the draw

Opening Day (1stSaturday in Sept.) thru last day (Sunday before rifle season) of Archery season

What is included in hunt cost :

    • Exclusive access to good private property for 4 full days of hunting
    • Assistance with license / drawing application

    What is not included :

    • Equipment & Guide
    • Meals & Accommodations needed for the hunt
    • License - available only through the draw
    • Meat processing and Taxidermy work

    The area & trophy quality

This area is in the northern fringe of top-end Antelope country, and they do not have the volume of animals that you’d expect to see from areas like central Wyoming, but the bucks seem to run a little bigger.  There’s plenty of animals however, and we expect most patient hunters will tag a nice (13” - 14” P&Y) buck with a chance at something (15” – 16”) special. There’s a mix or terrain, with some classic flat pastures, but there’s also a lot of rugged breaks, and in both areas, water is a premium so waiting at a water tank or small pond, is their go-to strategy.

The Tag area & trophy quality

Antelope tags in Montana are awarded only by way of the draw, but it’s been an easy (> 95%) draw

    5600 Antelope Tags are issued total – 560 nonresidents / 5040 Residents

    The Big Game unit: 700 – 21

    Hunt Code: 900-20

    Application deadline – June 4th

Travel to the ranchland south of Mosby, in north-central Montana to Bowhunt Antelope with a great Outfitter. This is a good area, one of the better units in the state, with lots of animals, and good quality Bucks. This is your classic water-hole Antelope hunt, that nearly always generates shot opportunities in a day or two, and  what I refer to as a “Full-Service, Guided” hunt. The guide will drop you off at a blind over-looking an active waterhole at 1st light, where you can expect to spend the day. The animals generally move all day and most the action will happen between 10:00 am and 2:00pm, so just relax, kick back, and enjoy the show. This is normally a dry area, where the animals usually water every day, but the guides will arrange for you to spot and stalk or use a decoy if needed, as backup plan if it happens to rain while your there.

Semi-Guided Antelope Bowhunt near Harrison, NE

    4-day Semi-guided Bowhunt - $2,500

Travel to northwestern Nebraska, just off the Wyoming state line near Harrison, for full-service Semi-Guided Archery Antelope Hunt.

Most hunters will enjoy success from a ground blind or tree stand over-looking an active waterhole, but as the rut kicks into gear (mid-September) decoying can become an exciting hunt style. For those that would enjoy the challenge, they also have areas where stalking can be effective.

This is private property managed to sustain good quality, with top-end Bucks in the area that will score in the 80s, but we suggest taking the 1st solid Pope & Younger (12+ inch with good mass & prongs) that presents a good shot. Cross-bows are legal during the archery season, and our outfitter welcomes those that choose to hunt with a cross-bow. They have a significant movement of animals (Mule Deer & Antelope) through their area in October as they migrate to winter range in Wyoming and is unique to Antelope hunting.

Stay in a fully loaded lodge with meals and all the transportation needed during the hunt.  Travel to northwestern Nebraska, just off the Wyoming state line near Harrison, for a semi-guided antelope bowhunt. The hunters will be shown the property the afternoon prior to their hunt dates and advised to the best strategy to get started. They should expect to manage themselves for the duration of the hunt after their introduction.

Archery season dates: August 20 - November 14

    • Water hole hunting: August 20 - September 10
    • Water hole / Decoying: September 10 - October 1
    • Migration: October 1 - November 1.

What is included in the cos

    • Services of licensed professional guide for 4 full days of hunting
    • All the meals & (5-nights) accommodations
    • All the transportation & equipment needed for the hunt
    • Professional caping & field prep of your trophy

    What is not included

    • License –  $155 + $16 habitat stamp
    • Meals
    • Extra hunting day (5 day hunt / 6 nights) - $250.

    Hunting Strategy

Get into the blind at 1st light and plan to be there all day. Bring a stack of magazines or good book and kick back to relax.

    Getting your license

Nebraska Fish & Game has capped the number of tags, which started new in 2022, with an application period to start in early (3rd) August. We highly recommend booked hunters apply on the 1st day the tags are available to ensure they get a tag as we’re not sure how long they will be available.
