4-day fully guided hunt - $2,500 - This Hunt is booked full with repeats for now
Travel to northeastern Wyoming near Gillette, to hunt antelope in one of the best areas of the state. This is another full-service outfitter with good leased private property where you'll hunt almost exclusively watching waterholes from good, solid elevated blinds which are very mobile and effective. Success runs high, and most weeks everyone will fill their tags with nice mature bucks over 12" that usually make P&Y.

Best time to go
We’ve always promoted the 1st week of the season (mid-August) but the early September (pre-rut) hunts have been more successful the last 2 years, and that would be my choice, looking into this season. The bottom line is, success will depend more on the weather than the week you book. Hot, dry weather (which is typical in northeast Wyoming) means dead Antelope.
Hunting strategy
Wait in elevated blinds at active waterholes set for 30 to 40 yard shots.
Success rate
This guy’s been at it for a while - has a good area, and a solid game plan. On an average year, over 98% of his hunters will kill a nice antelope. The area has a good population of 13" – 14" bucks that will score high enough to make the book, and you have an excellent chance to tag one.
Trophy Quality
There’s a lot of what we describe as nice bucks, with a modest sprinkling of great bucks. A good shooter will run 13" - 14" with good mass, an easy P&Y qualifier. Typically the 1st decent buck that comes into the waterhole will get plugged, but a discriminating hunter should have no problem collecting one that will make the book.
