Mountain Lion Bowhunts

Travel to Eastern Nevada to hunt Mountain Lions with another good, young outfitter. This is a 5-day fully (1x1) guided hunt, but does not include meals & accommodations. He’s another good, young outfitter with his own dogs and prefers to focus on chasing big Cats. This part of Nevada normally has good snow all winter but he his dogs are good and he can pick up tracks in the dirt too. He tries to target only mature Toms as they try not to run females and youngsters. He’s had great success in the last few years and nearly all (able-bodied) hunters will get a decent / good Cat. Fly into Vegas, where you can pick up rental car for 3-hour drive to the hunting area near Ely, Nevada. Airport pick up / drop-off is available but not included.

Colorado Mountain Lions

Travel to Colorado Springs or Denver, Colorado to hunt Mountain Lions with an outfitter that specializes in chasing Mountain Lions with hounds.  They hunt the foothills and rugged canyons of Southeast Colorado near West Cliff. This is a 5-day, fully guided hunt with limited services - the meals and accommodations are not included, but top-notch guides, dogs and equipment are included and expected. Gary Martin shot his beautiful P&Y tom with this outfitter in December of 2012.
