Expect to see Bears almost every evening, with a good chance to arrow a P&Y qualifier by the end of the hunt. The Bears similar in size to Alberta with a better chance of a good color phase Bear. The outfitters (co-owners) are avid Bowhunters, and have 45+ combined years of experience hunting with a bow. They have dozens of top-end trophies to their credit.

Terrain
This area could be described as low coastal mountains. It’s closer to hills than mountains, and not too bad for hiking but a good exercise routine would be helpful prior to this trip. The animals can generally be found by glassing from the boat or ATV.
It’s a good bowhunting area although it’s tree-less, there’s enough broken (boulders / ridges) ground to offer good concealment for stalks. Hunt #1) April 29 – May 4 Hunt #2) May 6 - 11
